4th on Broadway Parade/Float
LBGC has a float for the 4th on Broadway parade. Club members are allowed to ride the float in the parade. |

ABC Pro Rodeo
The Downtown ABC Club is a Club Sponsor. They present the ABC Pro Rodeo each year with proceeds going to the Lubbock Boys & Girls Clubs. 200 club members get to attend the rodeo and help with seating duties. |

Fall and Winter Basketball Leagues
Basketball leagues are held in the fall and winter for boys and girls ages 6 to 12. |

Holiday Celebrations
All Clubs celebrate major holidays with Club parties. The parties planned are: Valentine's Day, Easter, end of school, Fall Festival and Christmas. The kids look forward to these celebrations at the clubs. |

Jr. Golf Tournament
Adults help teach Club members how to play golf. They practice and work on their golf skills for 6 weeks before the Jr. Golf tournament. |

Kohl's Child Spree
Each year, Kohl's allows 50 club members to spend $100 each on school clothes for the coming year. Each child needs a sponsor/chaperone to assist them in spending their money wisely. |

National Day for Kids
LBGC celebrates kids on the first Sunday in August with fun activities for the members, their familie, and any guests. This is a family event organized for the families to spend quality time together. |

Outback Steak Dinner
50 Club members get to attend the annual Outback Steak Dinner, usually held in the spring. They are able to sit with guests and share about their experiences at the Clubs. It is a fun-filled evening with a silent auction and powerful speakers such as Sheryl Swoopes, Craig Ehlo and Pat Summerall. |

Texas Tech Athletic Events
Texas Tech University is generous in donating tickets to the clubs which allows members to attend various events such as basketball games, football games, baseball games, etc. |

Thanksgiving Dinners
Each of the four Clubs provide a Thanksgiving dinner for the members and their families. |
