Members & Families

Our after school program is in full swing.  Clubs are open from 3:00-7pm. Cost to become a member is $10.  Members are fed a hot meal daily.  This link will take you to the form required to become a member at the Club.
Three locations in Lubbock and one in Shallowater available for after school program during the school year.

Volunteers

We depend on volunteers to help us meet the needs of our members.  We are required to complete a background check on anyone that will be working with our youth.  Follow the link to download the 2 required forms.  Once completed, please email or take to Administrative Office.

Don't miss hearing Jackie Joyner Kersee speak at the 2017 Outback Steak Dinner on March 7 at 6:30pm at the Civic Center.  There will be silent and live auctions.  Tickets are $50 each or $500 for a table of 6 guests.  Click here to purchase now.

COMING UP

New Talkington Boys & Girls Club to be Built
Plans are underway to begin building the fifth Boys & Girls Club location in 2017.  This new Club will be located in west Lubbock in Duran Park at 26th and Kewanee. 


  Annual Awards Dinner
  Members and volunteers will be recognized at the Awards       Dinner on Thursday, April 13th,  at 6:30-8:00 pm.  Location     for the dinner is to be determined.
2017 ABC Pro Rodeo is 75 years old
The 2017 ABC Pro Rodeo will be at the City Bank Coliseum on March 30th, 31st and April 1st with evening performances at 7:30pm.  On Saturday, April 1st there will also be a 1:30pm matinee performance.  This will be the 75th Pro Rodeo brought to Lubbock by the Downtown Ambucs.

2017 Outback 
The speaker for the Outback Steak Dinner on March 7th will be Jackie  Joyner-Kersee.  Individual tickets and tables are available.
Dinner will be held at the Civic Center and begins at 6:30 pm.  Call 792-2880 for tickets or  CLICK HERE to purchase tickets.
